Marshal Armenak Khanperiants Military Aviation University marks 25th anniversary

A solemn event marking the 25th anniversary of Marshal Armenak Khanperyants Military Aviation University was held at the University on 14 April.

Acting Defence Minister Vigen Sargsyan, high-ranking officers and guests attended the ceremony. Sargsyan congratulated the faculty and the cadets of the university, praised the institution fro providing the military aviation, communications and air defence troops with professional personnel and for raising the  scientific and military potential of our country.

He also emphasised that military education is crucial for the Defence Ministry, and that Ministry will do its best to make military education competitive and enhancing its involvement in all the aspects of the economy.

During the solemn event, a ceremony of opening a newly built barrack of the University also took place.

A number of officials, instructors and cadets of the University received awards by the defence minister’s order.
