Seyran Ohanyan welcomed Mrs. Witkowsky to Armenia, as well as to the RA Ministry of Defence, and stressed the importance of her attendance at the international conference on peacekeeping issues, launched in Yerevan on October 5.

Anne Witkowsky also noted that Armenia is an important partner in the international peacekeeping and that the USA highly values Armenia’s efforts.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the Republic of Armenia’s participation in maintaining peace and international stability operations, US-Armenian cooperation, issues related to humanitarian projects, and regional security matters.
