A festive event was held in the Victory park

On May 9, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia David Tonoyan and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia Artak Davtyan took part in the festive event organized on the occasion of the Victory and Peace Day in the Victory park.

On the occasion of the victory in the Great Patriotic War and anniversary of the liberation of Shushi, David Tonoyan and Artak Davtyan paid tribute to the memory of the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the homeland and peace and together with the war veterans laid flowers at the eternal flame of the "Mother Armenia" memorial complex.

The Minister of Defense and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces together with the veterans watched the air parade of the military planes dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
