On October 22, within the framework of the 9th International Symposium on International Security in Syanshan, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia David Tonoyan had a separate meeting with the Minister of Defence of the People's Republic of China, Colonel General Wei Fenghe.

The heads of the Defence Ministries highly appreciated the process of the Armenian-Chinese bilateral cooperation and expressed satisfaction with the activities carried out in the military and military-technical fields.

Special attention was paid to the mutual training of military servicemen in the educational establishments of the two countries, their involvement in peacekeeping missions, their joint participation in operational and combat readiness activities.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on ways, areas and perspectives for the further development of the Armenian-Chinese interaction, as well as issues related to regional and international security.
