Dilijan hosted the first round of Peace Fighter Competition

The first round of "Orientation on the ground" of the military-professional "Professional" competition of Peace Fighter contest was held on August 4 in Dilijan.

The participants of the round overcame the barrier furnished in a complex mountainous area exclusively with the help of a map and a compass, making notes on the map at checkpoints. When evaluating the actions of the participating teams, the commission of referees took into account the timing of the lap overcoming and the map orientation skills.

As a result of the first round of the "Professional" competition the Armenian Armed Forces team was declared the winner. The second place was taken by Iranian, and the third by the Russian militaries.

The "Complex Combat Exercises" and "Medical Assistance" rounds are ahead within “Professional” Competition.
