Minister Tonoyan congratulated Ambassador Trace on her appointment and wished her success in her mission. He noted that in the past 17 years, the Armenian-American cooperation in the defence sector has continuously evolved. He added he was confident the current projects will continue to be implemented and new projects will be launched. From her part, Ambassador Trace said she was happy to meet with the Armenian defence minister to discuss prospects of bilateral cooperation in the defence field, as well as regional security issues, the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process and the humanitarian mission in Syria.
