Lt. Gen. Davtyan met with Bulgarian Defence Minister Krasimir Karakchanov and the chief of the Bulgarian Armed Forces, Gen. Andrey Botsev. The parties discussed Armenian-Bulgarian military-technical cooperation. They also supped up the 2018 cooperation results and outlined prospects for future cooperation. During the official ceremonial events, the delegation was accompanied by Armenia’s Ambassador to Bulgaria Armen Sargsyan.

The chief of the General Staff also visited Bulgarian military companies, laid a wreath on the Unknown Soldier's Monument.
