As envisaged by the plan of the exercises, the situation was developed in accordance with the tasks introduced, and the unit commanders acted accordingly. Rear and command control posts were set up, and the subdivisions were brought to a stronger mode of service.

Such maneuvers are aimed at developing the personnel’s skills to conduct prolonged combats in field conditions, to improve the capabilities of the commanders in making own decisions and ensure a successful outcome for the combat tasks.
