Defence minister pays visit to military hospital

Armenian Defence Minister David Tonoyan paid a visit on 24 September the Ministry of Defence Central Clinical Military Hospital.

Armenian Defence Minister David Tonoyan paid a visit on 24 September the Ministry of Defence Central Clinical Military Hospital to see Artur Gevorgyan, the serviceman heavily wounded on 20 of September while on duty at one of the Artsakh Defence Army outposts. Minister Tonoyan inquired about his treatment and wished the soldier to get well soon.

He also spoke with the soldier’s parents, assuring them that the Ministry of Defence will closely follow Arthur's treatment and tender further support to him.

Minister Tonoyan toured the hospital, met other servicemen undergoing treatment in the hospital. He also discussed a number of issues related to the treatment and operation of the hospital with the head of the hospital, Lt. Col. Gayane Hovhannisyan, and the management of the hospital.
