Defence Minister Davit Tonoyan and Armenia Central Bank Chairman Artur Javadyan discussed issues related to the current work of the mortgage program with the chief of the General Staff, deputy defence minister and the heads of the relevant departments.

The chairman of the Central Bank presented the proposals regarding the creation of the best opportunities for the servicemen to get apartments with the government support in the capital and the regions. In particular, it was emphasized that it is necessary to reduce the burden by utilizing the lowest interest rate available in the market, as well as lighten the burden the of the down payment.

The Affordable Housing for Servicemen project will allow servicemen to get long-term mortgage loans at the current minimum interest rates and other privileged conditions.
