The parties discussed issues related to the Armenia-UK cooperation in the defence sector. Minister Tonoyan highlighted the bilateral cooperation in advisory support, military education, and tactical training of junior commanders among other directions of cooperation. He also said that it is important that high level defence officials engage in regular military and political dialogue.

Ambassador Farnworth, from her part, said that the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence will continue to cooperate with the Armenian Defence Ministry in the defined fields, including assistance in public procurement legislation.

The parties also discussed regional security issues.
