Levon Ayvazyan, Head of Defence Ministry's Defence Policy Department, received on 14 June 14 Brig. Gen. Allan Richmond, the commander of UK Armed Forces 160th Infantry Brigade, who was accompanied by UK Military Attaché, Lt. Col. David Ethell.

The 160th Brigade is the main cooperation partner of various units of the Armenian Armed Forces, and every year, a number of events are held both in Armenia and UK with the participation of the Brigade’s personnel, such as tactical exercises, experience exchange, etc.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to events to be held this year under bilateral cooperation.

The 160th Brigade’s orchestra is currently in Armenia to give a joint open-air concert with the Armenian Armed Forces orchestra in Yerevan on 15 June.
