Due to the expiration of the two-year tenure of the Public Council under the minister of defence, the Ministry of Defence is imitating a rotation of Council members.

Membership in the Public Council is voluntary, based on an application. Representatives of NGOs, media, national minority organisations,

 experts, as well as other interested individuals who have at least two years of professional experience in defence sector.

Prospective members of the Council should submit the following documents:

• An application to the minister of defence;
• An autobiography;
• A recommendation letter from the petitioning organisation;
• A reference certifying that he/she has been involved in activities related to the defence sector.

Applications must be submitted between 24 May and 22 June, by regular mail to:
