Military Police urge to refrain from illegal actions

The military police officers have uncovered that in January 2015 a Nelly, a Gegharkunik Region resident, representing herself as Ministry of Defence employee in the rank of colonel, and pretending that her husband G. Sh. is a general, has embezzled AMD 1.000.000 from V. T. promising him to have his son, officer S.T. transferred to a unit near his home.

V. T and S. T. gave a written statement at the military police, who, on the basis of the statement, are preparing materials.

It was found out that Nelly is in fact V. Sukiasya, a resident of Gegharkunik Region, born in 1959, and that she is not an MOD employee. The military police have strong suspicions that K. Sukiasyan may have committed other similar frauds. The victims of the latter's criminal activities may call (010) 77-05-80, (010) 46-32-44 or apply to the nearest Military Police station.

The military police once again urge citizens to refrain from illegal actions.

Note: Any suspects of an alleged offence is considered innocent until proven guilty by court.
