Tactical drill held for Defence Ministry central apparatus subdivisions

Under the Armed Forces training plan, a tactical drill was conducted for the MOD central apparatus subdivisions at the MOD facilities on 27 February.

As part of the drill, a practice alert was declared early in the morning. The personnel were brought to the high level of combat readiness.

After receiving the corresponding alert signal, the servicemen and special civil servants of the Defence Ministry, the Armed Forces and the General Staff, reported to their relevant places of service in appropriate outfit and as prescribed by the relevant rules.

The goal of the drill was to bolster the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the MOD central apparatus staff in a high level combat readiness state, to enhance their command of their duties and professional knowledge, as well as their skills to apply them as needed.

Greeting the personnel, Chief of General Staff Col. Gen. Movses Hakobyan emphasized the importance of conducting drills in the armed forces, and urged to maintain appropriate alertness so they can perform their duties in a timely and effective manner.
