Winter conscription kicks off

Chief of General Staff Col. Gen. Movses Hakobyan and First Deputy Defence Minister Artak Zakaryan visited the National Gathering Facility today to wish the conscripts peaceful and secure service.
They toured the facility, talked with conscripts, their parents and relatives, answered the questions regarding conscription terms and privileges.
They learned about the medical examination and dressing details, the lottery procedure, the diet as well as the works conducted under the "I am" program and the new forms of privileges granted to the conscripts that are applied for the first time during this conscription.
Hakobyan and Zakaryan called on the young men to stay true to the honor of being an Armenian soldier, to be vigilant, careful and watchful when protecting the borders of the homeland.
A commission set up by the minister’s order and operating under control of the Public Commission is to oversee appeals and complaints during the winter conscription. More information can be obtained by calling 010-52-34-82.
